Kirrip Playspace

A brightly painted building sits behind a paved area surrounded by seating. There is a playground next to it with shade and large climbing structures.

In addition to its natural scenery, the area has various play equipment, a basketball ring, and sheltered BBQs and picnic table.

These amenities are within close proximity to the Kirrip Outdoor Performance Space and the nearby amphitheatre.

The precinct is a wonderful location for children and families.

Mural

A mural spans the length of the outdoor performance space. Artist Hayden Dewar drew inspiration from native flora and fauna. Several species are depicted in the artwork including Eltham Copper butterflies, a brushtail possum, kookaburra, blue tongue lizard, musk lorikeet and eucalyptus branch.

Dogs

You can bring your dog to the park but they must:

  • be on a leash
  • not be within five metres of the playground or barbeques
  • stay within five metres of the path.
