Reusable nappies

Reusable-nappy-photo-pink.jpg

Reusable nappies have transformed from the old-fashioned folded cloth nappies.

Modern reusable nappies are easy to use and readily available in a wide range of designs. Plus incorporating them into your routine can reduce waste going to landfill and save you money.

Even using one reusable nappy per day will mean saving 365 nappies from landfill in one year for one baby.

You don’t have to go it alone.

Nillumbik joined The Nappy Project - an initiative of 14 councils across Victoria to help support residents to use reusable nappies rather than disposables. For information, tips and advice on using reusable nappies, visit The Nappy Project.

This project was supported by the Circular Economy Councils Fund. The Fund is delivered by Sustainability Victoria under the Victorian Government’s circular economy policy, Recycling Victoria: a new economy.
