Report a missing or stolen bin

Use this form to request a replacement bin if:

  • your bin has gone missing
  • your bin was stolen, or
  • your bin fell into the rubbish truck

Missing or stolen bins are replaced free of charge.

Step 3.Provide your details

We will need to look up your property and bin details and confirm the property owner. 

What happens next? 

Once we receive your report, your replacement bin/s will be delivered within three business days.

If you let us know that your bin has been stolen, we are required to file a stolen goods report to the police for insurance purposes. It may be necessary for the police and/or an insurance company representative to contact you to assist in their enquiries.

Where it is reported that a bin has fallen into the back of the waste truck, this will be verified by reports from the waste collection driver.
