• Recycle in your green bin. Large branches need to be chopped up so the bin lid can be fully closed. 
• Recycle at our Recycling Centre. Residents can use a green waste voucher.

Plastic plant pots

• Recycle at Nillumbik Nursery, Bulleen Art and Garden or Rivers. Visit PP5 for more drop off locations
• Dispose of in your red landfill bin. 

Even though black plastic pots are recyclable, the sorting equipment at the recycling facility (Cleanaway) cannot identify them and sorts them incorrectly. They use optical sorting technology.
