Pay a Fire Prevention Notice infringement

If you have received a fine related to a Fire Prevention Notice, you can pay online.

You must pay your fine by the due date or the matter will be forwarded to the Magistrates' Court of Victoria. Failure to pay the infringement penalty within 28 days may result in enforcement action and further costs. Proceedings may be taken against you which carry a maximum of 120 penalty units, 12 months’ imprisonment or both.

Step 2.Pay

Pay with cash, cheque, money order, EFTPOS, Mastercard or Visa. We do not accept Diners Club or American Express.

Step 1.Prepare a cheque or money order

Payable to Nillumbik Shire Council and crossed 'Not Negotiable' 

Return with the infringement notice to

Step 2.If you would like a receipt

Write your name and address on the infringement notice and mail it to us.

To apply to have the payment due date extended

  • infringement number
