Edendale Farm

Edendale Community Environment Farm is set on seven acres of land next to the Diamond Creek in Eltham. With a focus on connecting with nature and lifelong environmental learning, a visit to Edendale is a great day out for the whole family. 

You can learn about sustainable living, enjoy the natural environment, buy some indigenous plants, meet our farm animals and feed the chooks! 

Farm

Edendale hosts a wide variety of animals including guinea pigs, small native animals and farm animals including sheep, calves, alpacas and goats. You can purchase food to feed the poultry or visit smaller creatures such as stick insects, hopping mice, yabbies and other water creatures.

Cafe

Cafe Eden is open 10am to 2.30pm weekdays and 10am to 3pm weekends. Tables and chairs on the deck of the cafe provide a view over the farm and adjacent natural landscape. Prams and strollers are easily parked in this child friendly cafe.

Nursery

Open 10am to 4.30pm weekdays and weekends, the nursery sells a wide range of Indigenous tubestock and pots, vegetable seedlings, compost bins, worm farms and lots more. Nursery staff can provide advice and information about the plants as well as advice on seasonal availability, planting requirements and general horticultural enquiries.

Edendale is a unique, eco-friendly location for events and functions. There are indoor rooms and outdoor spaces for hire

Schools and education
