Spectacular film ‘Takayna - the Heart of Lutruwita' showcases one of the last wild places on Earth.

The campaign for its long fought-for World Heritage nomination has been reinvigorated by a film showcasing Australia’s largest temperate rainforests and Aboriginal living landscape in Tasmania’s Takayna.

The film is brought to you by the Bob Brown Foundation and the screening is organiser by a local resident of Eltham.

‘Takayna - the Heart of Lutruwita’ is an inspiring and hopeful film about the battle to defend Takayna from mining and logging. From frontline activists to Tasmanian Aboriginal community members, scientists and musicians, these people are standing up for its protection, and you can join them too.

Join us on the night to find out more about Takayna and our campaign to protect and to hear from inspiring speakers about the issue of native forest logging and why it is so important to protect places like Takayna.
