Reach & Belong offers NDIS supported programs for adults and teenagers with disabilities.
Its Northern Suburbs expansion will bring its much-loved sewing group, cooking classes and Dungeons and Dragons club to more communities.
These cooking classes offer participants the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and discover food they enjoy cooking as well as eating!
This program is run by Sue every Wednesday, with different meals and cuisines for participants to create and enjoy. Participants will learn cooking skills, food handling and safety, how to follow a recipe, how to present food and more.
Many of our participants take these skills home and love cooking for their friends and family. This cooking class is a wonderful way to meet new people and learn lifelong skills, transferrable into the real world, all while enjoying some high-quality food.
