This year, 30 artists will open their studios to the public as part of Nillumbik Artists Open Studios.

Explore sculpture walks in picturesque locations, get lost in painting studios and potteries and witness demonstrations of how the artists create their work.

Nillumbik Artists Open Studio Program is offering an easier way for visitors to preview and locate every participating artist in the Shire of Nillumbik. A phone app has been created can be downloaded from the Apple and Google stores from your phone. This is really a step forward for moving to renewables.

Visitors will be invited into the studios to watch the artists at work, view their creations and perhaps purchase a piece of artwork. Artforms across the studios include painting, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textiles, metal sculpture and glass work. Community workshops, commissions and private classes will also be available at some of the studios.

The pamphlet is available to download if you haven’t picked one up at the many outlets (cafes, shops, libraries, etc.) throughout Nillumbik and beyond.
