Gardens for Wildlife is a free program that encourages and guides local residents to create wildlife-friendly gardens. Residents, schools and community groups can ask for a guide to tour their gardens and provide simple practical advice on how to increase habitat and food sources for wildlife. The program improves biodiversity and habitat within Nillumbik.
If you're passionate about local wildlife and connecting people to nature, consider volunteering as a Garden Guide.
You don’t need to be a wildlife gardening expert – we will provide you with training and ongoing support.
We value diversity and are continuously working towards creating an inclusive and flexible volunteer environment. If you would like to discuss any specific needs or requirements, contact us.
