Place Activation and Event Grant Program

Connecting Over 55s - Social Connection Grant

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence grants

Grants up to $500 for community-led projects to support awareness-raising in Nillumbik during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, from 25 November to 10 December 2024.

Celebrating Over 55s - Seniors Festival Grant

Grants up to $500 are available for programs, events and activities aimed at people 55 and over during the month of October.

Connected St Andrews Project Grants

Grants of up to $5,000 are available for projects that work towards the community goals of the Connected St Andrews Project.

Festive Fund Grants

Grants up to $2,000 for community projects, programs or activities that will support and encourage our community to celebrate the festive season. Projects, events or activities must support the activation of a public place.

International Day of People with Disability Grants

Grants up to $1,000 to support events and activities celebrating and promoting disability inclusion in Nillumbik, held between November 2024 and January 2025.

The Nillumbik Community Fund provides grants up to $5,000 to support a range of initiatives responding to the needs of our community.

Placemaking Grants

Grants of up to $4,500 from a pool of $20,000 are available to assist with the delivery of placemaking activities in Nillumbik. Placemaking activities play an important role in townships across the Shire and can provide social, economic and cultural benefits to the region and its communities.
