Fast track tree removal – 10FP application checklist

You are applying to lop or remove up to two trees (or prune trees) and opt to use our arborist to assess and report (for an extra fee).

This page outlines the documents that you must have (mandatory inclusions) and others you might need to apply. 

Before you start

Before you apply, you'll need to create an account for eservices. Most registrations are approved within one business day. You'll only need to register once to submit, track and amend your application.

Mandatory inclusions

Your 10FP planning application must include:

Certificate of title

You need to attach a Certificate of Title from Landata copy (dated within the last three months) and with a copy of any registered covenants and/or Section 173 agreements.

Details of tree/s

When you apply online we will need details of:

  • number of trees in your application
  • per tree: location, health of the tree, species, size
  • reason the vegetation needs to be removed and/or extent of proposed tree pruning/lopping.

Photographs

Supply photos of the subject trees and/or extent of pruning, show evidence of any recent branch failures or dead wood etc.

Site plan

Provide a plan that is drawn to scale with dimensions that includes (if relevant):

  • title boundaries – must be clearly shown and labelled
  • property boundaries and north point
  • location of trees to be removed or pruned – numbered as per arborist report
  • distance of subject trees from a fixed object (eg house or fence)
  • accurate location of the dwelling, outbuildings and fences in relation to the property boundaries
  • key site features such as driveways, swimming pools and tennis courts etc
  • street frontages – location and name
  • tree planting (preferably indigenous species from our Live Local Plant Local guide) to replace trees removed.
