Background

The Eltham North Dog Park and carpark was built and opened in 2021. Melbourne Water requires a stormwater outlet to Diamond Creek to be included as part of the creek enhancement works. 

Works include:

  • Construct a new stormwater outlet 
  • Rock beaching as per Melbourne Water's guidelines 
  • Pipe laying 

Funding details

Council’s 2023-24 Capital Works Program

Project updates

Works are expected to be completed by December 2024.

Rocks have been stockpiled on site for use in beaching.

Traffic management at Wattletree Road will be in place for the duration of these works.
