Background

The Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool is much loved by the community, however the facility is ageing, and some components have reached their end of useful life.

Upgrades are required to meet current user expectations and ensure the facility is used for years to come.

Council has received $1.5 million in Australian Government funding via the "Investing in Our Communities Program" for improvements to Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool.

Improvements will enhance the overall user experience of this key community asset.

  • Swimming club room improvements
  • New plant equipment
  • Upgraded walkways to ensure accessible paths to all areas.

Australian Government: $1,500,000 via the "Investing in Our Communities" program.

Project updates

December 2024: Council’s appointed contractor Mantric Architecture is finalising designs for the Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool Upgrade which will be shared with the community once completed. Construction works will take place over the 2025 closure period.
