On Wednesday 25 December and Wednesday 1 January, bins will not be collected. Instead, bins will be collected the following day and one day later for the rest of the week. Our customer service desk will be closed from 25 December to 5 January, however our call centre will only be closed on public holidays.

Apply for a building permit
Building permit fees are determined on a case by case basis taking into consideration the scope of the project, mandatory inspections required and the cost of the works.
If you would like to obtain a quote for your project please provide a set of plans and estimated cost of works for the project to building.admin@nillumbik.vic.gov.au
After your permit application is received, an invoice will be generated and emailed to you. This email will contain instructions about how to pay.
Once the application fee has been paid, your application will be assessed by a member of the Building Services team, who will contact you should they require any additional information.
