Easter holiday operating hours

There will be changes to the operating hours of Council facilities and services over the Easter holiday period.

Council offices and call centre

Our call centre and customer service desk at the Civic Centre in Greensborough will be closed from 5pm Thursday 28 March, reopening on Tuesday 2 April. 

Recycling Centre

The Recycling Centre and Reuse Shop is closed until Friday 12 April. This is due to closures for Easter (29 March – 1 April) and maintenance taking place on the following weekend (Friday 5 April – Monday 8 April). The centre is not open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Bin collections

Bins will not be collected on Good Friday 29 March. Instead bins will be collected the next day, Saturday 30 March. There are no other changes to bin collections over Easter – bins will be picked up as normal on Easter Monday.

Edendale Community Environment Farm

The farm is open as usual over the Easter holiday period. Café Eden will be closed Good Friday.

Leisure Centres

Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool

Closed Good Friday. The pool is open Saturday 30 March and Sunday 31 March before closing for the season and is closed Easter Monday.

The pool reopens 1 November.

Eltham Leisure Centre

Open 9am-12pm for its annual Good Friday Appeal fundraiser. For all other opening times, visit their website.

Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre

Open 9am-12pm for its annual Good Friday Appeal fundraiser. For all other opening times, visit their website.

Diamond Creek Community Centre

Open 9am-10am for its annual Good Friday appeal fundraiser. For all other opening times, visit their website.

Community Bank Stadium

Closed Good Friday. For all other opening times, visit their website.

Yarrambat Park Golf Course

Libraries

All library branches, including the Eltham and Diamond Valley branches and the Hurstbridge Click and Collect Service, as well as the Mobile Library are closed over the Easter long weekend (Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April inclusive). Return chutes are also closed. Those with overdue items have been automatically extended. Normal hours resume on Tuesday 2 April.
