Bins will be collected as normal on the Australia Day public holiday, Friday 26 January. However, the Civic Centre customer service desk in Greensborough, call centre, and Recycling Centre in Plenty will be closed.

Council offices

32 Civic Drive Greensborough

The customer service desk at the Civic Centre in Greensborough will be closed on Friday 26 January.

From Monday 29 January, the desk will resume normal operating hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Customer Service Call Centre

The call centre will be closed on Friday 26 January. It will reopen on Monday 29 January with the normal operation hours of 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.

Bin collection

Bins will be collected as normal on Friday 26 January. Please put your bin out on your normal day. Check your bin day.

Recycling Centre

290 Yan Yean Road, Plenty

The Recycling Centre will be closed on the Australia Day public holiday on Friday 26 January.

Saturday 27 January: Open 8am-4pm

Sunday 28 January: Open 8am-4pm

Monday 29 January: Open 8am-4pm

Nillumbik libraries

The Eltham Library will be open on Friday 26 January, 10am-5pm. The Diamond Valley Library, Hurstbridge Hub Click and Collect and Mobile Library Service will be closed.

Return chutes will remain open during this time, and normal library hours and services will resume on Saturday 27 January.

The hub in Graysharps Road will be closed on Friday 26 January, reopening Monday 29 January.

Living & Learning Nillumbik

Our Eltham Neighbourhood House is closed until Monday 5 February for site works.

Diamond Creek and Panton Hill neighbourhood houses will be closed on Friday 26 January.
