Time is running out to nominate your local heroes for the 2025 Nillumbik Community Awards

Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to make a difference in the Nillumbik community? Now’s your chance to recognise their impact by nominating them for a 2025 Nillumbik Community Award.

These awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and community groups who help make Nillumbik a connected, inclusive, and thriving place to live.

Nominations are open across several categories, including:

• Volunteer of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year
• Community Group of the Year
• Contribution to Arts, Culture and Heritage
• Contribution to Diversity and Inclusion
• Contribution to Environment and Sustainability
• Contribution to Reconciliation

Nominations close Sunday 4 May, so don’t miss your chance to say thank you to those making a real difference.

Award recipients will be announced at a celebration event in August, as part of Council’s ongoing commitment to recognising our Community heroes.
