Results
The Victorian Electoral Commission has declared the results for the 2024 Council election.
Types of voters
In a council election there are two types of voters:
- State enrolment
If your address on the state electoral roll is in Nillumbik Shire, you must vote in the Nillumbik council election. If you don’t vote, the VEC may issue you a fine. To check your enrolment, visit the VEC website.
- Council enrolment
Some ratepayers who are not on the state roll can apply to become council-enrolled voters in Nillumbik.
You have one vote per council. If you are a state-enrolled voter, that is the enrolment you use to vote.
Visit the VEC website for more information about enrolling for local council elections.
