Advocacy priorities

Greater support for mental health services, and disaster preparedness and recovery are some of the key issues on which Nillumbik Shire Council’s advocacy efforts are focused.

Endorsed by Council in December 2021, the document provides the framework for Council’s advocacy, on behalf of its community, to all levels of government during this term of Council.

Each priority item has been linked to one of the four overarching themes that guide the broader Council Plan 2021-2025.

Nillumbik Shire Council continues to work tirelessly to advocate for the best possible outcomes for our community.
