Council’s Recycling Centre, call centre, offices and customer service desk will be closed on Tuesday 5 November. Bins will be collected as normal.
The CEO Employment Matters Committee makes recommendations to Council on contractual employment matters, performance matters and any other functions or responsibilities prescribed by the Local Government Act relating to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Independent members of the Committee are separately appointed by Council for a fixed term.
The Committee will meet a minimum two times a year, unless otherwise agreed by Council.
Committee appointments will be for a one year term, with an option to review annually at Council’s Extraordinary Council Meeting held in November each year.
The Committee is chaired by an independent chairperson who is appointed by Council initially for a two year term, with extension options of up to a maximum of two more years at the discretion of Council.
The current CEO Employment and Remuneration Policy was adopted by Council in 28 September 2021.
