The Nillumbik Community Awards celebrate the extraordinary contributions and achievements of individuals and community groups who make a real difference in our community.

These awards are a chance to recognise the passion, dedication and hard work that help shape Nillumbik into a vibrant and connected place to live.

Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond to enrich the lives of others in Nillumbik?

Perhaps it’s a volunteer who tirelessly gives their time, a young leader inspiring change, a group fostering inclusion, or someone creating positive change through the arts, environmental initiatives or reconciliation efforts.

Nominate them for a Nillumbik Community Award and help us shine a light on their outstanding efforts.

This is your opportunity to say thank you and celebrate those who go the extra mile for our community. Together, let’s honour the remarkable people and groups that make Nillumbik special.

How to nominate

Submitting a nomination is easy, flexible and can be submitted online by creating an account. This will allow you to save your progress and return to complete your nomination at any time. If you're unable to submit online, we recommend getting in touch with us to discuss our alternative submission methods.

For more information on the nomination process, we strongly encourage you to review the Nomination Guidelines(PDF, 265KB). It contains everything you need to know to complete your nomination. Alternatively, you can contact a Community Development Officer at the contact details provided.
