Allwood Neighbourhood House

Allwood Festive Bash 2024 | $2,000
Kick off the festive season with a celebration of local music, entertainment and a makers market in the gorgeous gardens of Allwood Neighbourhood House! Enjoy a free BBQ courtesy of Hurstbridge Community Shed, a show from a local children's performer, Christmas shopping opportunities, live music, and after dusk - a moonlight cinema!

Arthurs Creek Community Centre

Arthurs Creek Community Centre 'All Welcome, All the Time' Christmas Party | $750
Arthurs Creek Community Centre welcomes all to our annual festive Christmas party! There will be a spit roast, games for all including egg and spoon, sack, and three-legged races, as well as prizes, gifts, and a visit from Santa on the CFA truck.

Country Fire Authority (CFA) - Eltham Fire Brigade

Eltham CFA Community Christmas Activities | $2,000
Eltham CFA will visit a number of local playgrounds with Santa on board their fire truck to greet local children and families, and decorate the CFA Station at 909 Main Road Eltham, including on-roof inflatables.

Erika & Her Kraft

Upcycled Christmas Decoration Workshops | $2,000
Join local artist Erika at Allwood House in Hurstbridge this December to craft unique Christmas decorations from upcycled materials. Perfect for all ages, these drop-in sessions require no experience - just your holiday cheer! Create festive, sustainable decor and make the season special!

Hurstbridge Traders Association

Chalk Art Christmas Windows in Hurstbridge Village | $2,000
Enchanting chalk art with a Christmas theme can be found on shop windows throughout Hurstbridge Village, enhancing the local shopping experience and pleasure for community and visitors alike. Created by local artist and resident Erika Clarkson whose past designs have been very popular, Christmas Windows take on a new meaning.

Rotary Club of Diamond Creek

Community Christmas Celebration at the Tram | $2,000
A free community Christmas celebration will be held at the Diamond Creek Rotary Tram Cafe. Attractions include visits by Santa with gifts for the children, performances by the Diamond Creek Karaoke Choir, a free BBQ lunch, face painting for the children, and a henna hand artist.

St Johns Anglican Church Diamond Creek

Diamond Creek Community Carols | $2,000
Diamond Creek community Christmas Carols is a local community event that brings the community together for festive fun. Beginning with food trucks, activities for children, face painting, craft, the CFA truck, and performances from local singing schools. Followed by the main event.

The Vine Baptist Church

The Nillumbik Community Gift Appeal | $1,000
The Vine Baptist Church, in collaboration with the Nillumbik Lions Club, will coordinate the Nillumbik Community Gift Appeal which collects and distributes donated food and toys to Nillumbik families struggling financially at Christmas.

Wattle Glen Fire Brigade

Wattle Glen Fire Brigade Santa Run and Community Christmas Cheer | $2,000
The Wattle Glen Fire Brigade’s Santa Run brings festive cheer to our community by decorating fire trucks and the station. Santa visits every street, the local primary school's Christmas concert, and the Estia Aged Care facility, spreading joy and handing out lollies to residents, young and old.

Twilight Market
Browse over 70 local craft and food stalls showcasing the talents of our local crafts people and indulge in a treat from one of the food stalls. Bring the kids along to meet Father Christmas when he arrives in a fire truck at 7pm and soak up the twilight festive atmosphere.

Letters from Santa to Primary School Students
During December Diamond Valley Lions will work with teachers at local primary schools to coordinate the children in writing letters to Santa. The Lions will collect the letters and provide a personalised reply from Santa to each child.
Schools participating include Diamond Creek Primary School, Diamond Creek East Primary School, Hurstbridge Primary School, Wattle Glen Primary School (Prep and grade 1 only), and Yarrambat Primary School.

Eltham CFA | $1,000

Community Christmas Activities (Santa Run)
On Sunday 17 December Santa is coming to town assisted by the volunteers of the Eltham CFA in their fire trucks. Watch and listen for the lights and sirens as Santa arrives at the listed locations to greet families and share the Christmas cheer.
