National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The NDIS provides support for eligible people under 65 with permanent and significant disability.
The NDIS has been designed to give people with disability choice and control over choosing the services that work best for them to provide the support they need.
For information about how the NDIS works, and who is eligible, visit the NDIS website.

Brotherhood of St Laurence Disability Services
The Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) delivers Local Area Coordination (LAC) and early childhood services for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Nillumbik and the north-east Melbourne area.
Local Area Coordinators support people with disability and community-based organisations to understand and navigate NDIS processes and connect with community and mainstream services.
The NDIS early childhood approach supports children under nine with developmental delay or disability. The BSL specialist early childhood team will help your child join in daily activities and participate in your community, and let you know about other services in your community that may be able to support you.
