Home and Community Care Program

The Home and Community Care Program for Younger People provides support for people with disabilities whose capacity for independent living is at risk.

It is available to people up to the age of 65 years.

Services are for younger people with moderate, severe or profound disabilities and their unpaid carers.

In Nillumbik, this program is directly managed and delivered by mecwacare. 

Younger people are encouraged to test their eligibility with the National Disability Insurance Scheme prior to accessing support services.
