St Andrews Film Society

St Andrews Film Society Incorporated provides friendly monthly community gatherings at the Wadambuk St Andrews Community Centre.

There are currently two groups with members voting on the selection of films:

The Friday night group meets on the 3rd Friday of each month (excluding December). Members enjoy a variety of films aimed at a mature audience, occasional guest speakers and a shared supper.
The Thursday daytime group consists of mainly older community members and features positively themed films. It meets on the 1st Thursday of every month, at 12pm for a shared lunch followed by the screening at 12.30pm.

Membership for either group is currently $40 per year, and allows attendance at screenings of both groups. People can join at any time of the year. If joining after August, a reduced fee of $20 applies.

Guests are welcome on a one-off basis and transport locally can usually be arranged. Members can also borrow a previously screened movie free of charge.
