A day of Total Fire Ban has been declared for Saturday 22 February. The Fire Danger Rating is Extreme. The Recycling Centre in Plenty will be closed all day due to the Total Fire Ban. Edendale Farm will close to the public at 2.30pm due to the heat forecast.

Woodridge Linear Reserve is a multipurpose park and popular walking track in Eltham that meanders from Grove Street, across Hartland Way and Eucalyptus Road.
The Friends of Woodridge Linear Reserve have a long history over many years of caring for the reserve, weeding, planting and in more recent times helping to expand the territory of the Eltham Copper Butterfly.
The Friends meet on the last Sunday of the month at 10am at the Hartland Way crossing.
