Our group, known as Kangaroo Ground Tower and park (GKT&P) was formed as a friends group to work with the Shire of Nillumbik to maintain and enhance the War Memorial Park and surrounds.
We hold memorial Services on Anzac Day and Remembrance Day.
We consult with the Shire on the Master Plan for the park and work with Nillumbik Tourism and Business and the Nillumbik Reconciliation Group to explore opportunities for the park.
We also undertake research into the war heritage of the Shire, especially in respect of WWI.
