A day of Total Fire Ban has been declared for Saturday 22 February. The Fire Danger Rating is Extreme. The Recycling Centre in Plenty will be closed all day due to the Total Fire Ban. Edendale Farm will close to the public at 2.30pm due to the heat forecast.

The EDWC is involved in wide variety of wood crafts including cabinet making, turning, carving, scroll sawing and musical instrument making.
A not-for-profit club, fostering an interest in woodwork throughout the local community.
Our club has approximately 90 members including both men and women.
Groups are formed to meet the interests of the members - our common interest is a passion for woodworking.
Current groups include cabinet making, carving, woodturning, pyrography and scroll sawing. All groups operate from the club house.
