Eltham Rugby Union Football Club

The forerunner to Eltham RUFC was launched in 1971 and was first known as Yarra Valley RUFC; it was initially based at Andrew’s Reserve, Eltham. In 1977 the club was renamed Eltham RUFC and is currently based at Bridge Street, Eltham. In the 2019 Rugby Victoria club competition, the club ran two Senior sides (Premiership and Premiership Reserve), and seven Junior teams from Under 6 through to Under 16. The club fosters a strong community and family spirit, with the goal of providing a safe and inclusive environment for promoting the playing of rugby, particularly for children.
