A day of Total Fire Ban has been declared for Saturday 22 February. The Fire Danger Rating is Extreme. The Recycling Centre in Plenty will be closed all day due to the Total Fire Ban. Edendale Farm will close to the public at 2.30pm due to the heat forecast.

Our friendly group offers a range of walks from regular weekday walks to extended walks, including monthly Saturday walks, regional trips and occasional interstate and overseas trips. EEWG provides both Easy & Moderate walks to accommodate varying levels of fitness.
Weekday walks are scheduled within half an hour of Eltham for approximately two hours every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Routes are drawn from a list of over 150 walks, taking in rail, river and creek-side trails, national parks and reserves, suburban streets & country lanes.
Once a member, there is no need to book in for weekday walks, you just turn up at the appointed time and location. You can do as many weekday and Saturday walks as you like for a very low annual fee of less than $50. You may participate as a guest walker on three separate occasions before you decide if you would like to join us as a member.
