Diamond Creek Regional Playspace

Photo of Diamond Creek Regional Playspace - a playground and grassy area

The Diamond Creek Regional Playspace is located at Diamond Creek Reserve, near Marngrook Oval, the Diamond Creek Bowls Club and the off-leash dog park.

This fantastic nature-themed play space is designed for all ages and abilities, and works closely with the natural parkland environment. It features dedicated junior and senior play areas, flying foxes, nature play and cubby area. There are picnic shelters, seats, tables, barbecues, and public toilets.

Getting there

The playspace is easily accessible from the Diamond Creek Trail. Diamond Creek Railway Station, located on Station Street, is approximately 900m (10 to 15 min walk) north-east of the playspace. Diamond Creek is on the Hurstbridge railway line. There is also a bus stop at Diamond Creek Plaza, with the 580 bus (from Eltham to Diamond Creek) and the 343 bus (from Greensborough to Hurstbridge) stopping here.

Labyrinth

The Diamond Creek Reserve labyrinth is a simple, non-intrusive contemplative pathway set in the landscape used for walking exercise and meditation.

Tram Café

Alongside the playspace is the Tram Café, operated by the Rotary Club of Diamond Creek. More information about the Tram Café can be found at the Diamond Creek Rotary Tram Project Facebook page.
